Book Review Policy

Update April 2023
I reserve the right to chage this policy without notice.

laBOOK'S

I'm up to receiving books for review from publishers and authors. If you are one of them, this is for you.

To request the review of your work on LABOOK'S blog, you need to email me (to labooksblog@gmail.com) with the book title, blurb, link to Goodreads or the book pages, deadline (if applicable), and any additional info (book promotion, giveaway, etc.) you can forward to me so I can create my post.

I'm a Venezuelan blogger, and thanks to all the situations in my country, sadly international delivery is not an option right now. So, I'm only accepting foreign books in digital formats (PDFePUB -which I prefer- and MOBI only). For paperback and hardback format I'm only accepting them from Venezuelan authors. I may not accept your request for several reasons; I always try to fix as many reviews as possible on my calendar, but sometimes I can't do it. So, please, understand.

My reviews are never negative because I try very hard to give the authors some positive critiques about their work. Everybody deserves respect, and I understand that it isn't easy to write a book, plus someone else may like what I didn't. But I also have to respect my fellow readers who could consider reading the book, and I will not, under any circumstance, recommend something I didn't like and enjoy.

I never sell books I receive for review. Although, I could hold a giveaway or share them with close friends and family that I think would enjoy them unless you specify otherwise.

Guest posts, giveaways, and interviews: I am always glad to spread the word about author and their works; if you are interested in a Guest Blog or interviews, just let me know. Also, I'd be happy to participate in blog tours for the book.

Genres I read
I enjoy reading any Young Adult, New Adult, and Middle Grade's books about:
  • Paranormal Romance
  • Contemporary Romance
  • Historical Romance
  • Mystery/Thrillers
  • Sci-Fi
  • Self-help books.
  • Non-fiction
  • Erotic (I could consider some erotic, but I'm picking about this, so don't be upset when I decline your request.)

What I'm not going to accept
  • Religious focused.
  • Horror.
